The site plan arranges seven of eight total buildings fronting the primary village road, Marketplace Plaza, whose focal point is a central plaza area featuring a landscaped roundabout, creating the heart of the marketplace.

The buildings are separated from the tree-lined Marketplace Road by wide (15 feet average) walking paths. This allows for a complementary relationship between auto access to the stores and restaurants, and comfortable walking, shopping and dining. Ample surface parking for approximately 320 cars is provided throughout Wildhorse, free of charge, yielding an overall parking ratio of approximately 3.6 spaces per 1,000 square feet. This far exceeds parking available in other commercial areas of Steamboat or other resort areas.

The first phases of Wildhorse include a 22,000 square foot Gart Sports, a 10,400 square foot office building, a state-of-the-art multi screen cineplex with stadium seating, and two buildings containing approximately 23,000 square feet of retail shop space. Future phases may include a freestanding restaurant, and additional retail shop space.
